u can do the fingernail test....if u can press ur fingernail intho the wood and leave a mark...as long as its not crumbly it will probaqbly work...with a few exceptions...u can even just pick up...

Well, where I live there is none of that medium wood found up north (no cottonwood, cedar, poplar, etc.) so I use what is here and that is Willow, Maple and Yucca. Fingernail test is the best way to...
